Architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars has spent six years developing the magnetic floating bed. The bed basically floats in the air, above magnets and is held in place by four very thin tethers. It can hold up to 900 kilos and it will cost you 1,200,000 euros. This is a definite for every bachelor out there.
