Where Luxury Meets Bizarre

Jason Kronenwald’s Portraits made from Gum

Jason Kronenwald’s Portraits made from Gum

Jason Kronenwald, based in Toronto, has a strange choice of materials for his artwork- chewing gum.  Each Gum Blonde is made from 100% chewed gum and it’s placed on a plywood backing. No paint or dye is used. The colours are mixed in the mouth using a variety of colours and flavours. And get this Jason prefers not to chew the gum himself so he has a dedicated team to look after that part of the process.
